During this 90 minute workshop we invite yoga students of ALL LEVELS to embark on a journey of self discovery and empowerment, and to take more control of their yoga practice.
We will start with a brief exploration of the Yamas & Niyamas, our moral codes of conduct, followed by a breakdown of all styles of sun salutations, chaturanga modifications, safe downward facing dogs, and yogic breath to energize the body.
We will then dive into a variety of foundational standing and seated poses to discover the proper alignment for each one and learn how to engage muscles effectively.
Workshop will wrap up with an exploration of various breathing techniques (pranayama) so you can use your breath as a powerful tool to connect the body and mind.
During our time together I want you to not only build physical strength but also cultivate mental resilience so you can take your practice out of the mat and into your daily life.
