BREATHE SPRING CLEANING - A NEW TYPE OF CHALLENGE

We are excited to announce our next challenge at BREATHE: Spring Cleaning - a 4-week program focused on your well-being, and designed to inspire, connect and transform. For this one (which starts on Monday, April 3rd), we are shifting from challenge to community and from prizes to practice (although there will be a few rewards!).
At BREATHE, we are committed to helping you achieve holistic wellness and balance in your life. Each week of this month-long program will focus on a specific theme and set of practices to help all of us achieve our wellness goals.
Taken as a whole, our aim is to help you weave transformative practices into your daily life. Practice could mean taking a regular yoga class, but it could also mean something much simpler, like putting your phone away an hour before bed, or drinking a warm cup of water first thing in the morning. Everyone has probably identified a simple change or 2 they know would be beneficial to make; by joining together as a community, we hope to empower and support each other in making these changes.
We ask that all participants share their email address with us in order to receive regular emails, and also join a special WhatsApp Group that we will use for community engagement.
Our Challenge Guides, led by Aura, will be taking a proactive approach in sharing tips, techniques and ideas, helping to set the tone each week for growth and continual wellness improvements.

WEEK 1: MONDAY, APRIL 3RD - SUNDAY, APRIL 9TH
ELIMINATING WHAT DOES NOT SERVE YOU
In the first week, we will focus on letting go of things that are holding us back or causing us stress. From letting go of negative self-talk or decluttering our physical space, to releasing old emotions or getting physical with the elimination of coffee, alcohol, stimulants. Maybe taking a break from social media, limiting our bad spending habits, or stepping out of our comfort zones. This week we encourage you to find 2 things that you would like to work on eliminating from your life.
This can be the most challenging week of all. Find space to BREATHE, giving your body and mind what it needs. Incorporating some BREATHE classes into your routine can help boost your elimination efforts. Here are a couple of examples:
Take a BREATHE Power, Hot26, Buti Yoga or IHP Class. These practices can help those who are focused on releasing toxins and negative energy from the body.
Take a BREATHE Balance, Yin Yoga/Restorative or Hot26 Class. These practices can help those who are focused on releasing physical and emotional tension.
You will be asked to share 2 things you are aiming to eliminate from your life with our program leaders (confidentially) and encouraged to share within the group.
WEEK 2: MONDAY, APRIL 10TH - SUNDAY, APRIL 16TH
TRANSITIONING INTO WHAT YOUR BODY AND MIND NEEDS
After beginning to eliminate what no longer serves us, we will shift our focus to what our bodies and minds need in order to feel nourished and balanced.
Together we will explore tips for mindful eating, establishing a self-care routine, or setting healthy boundaries.
Participants will be encouraged to step out of their comfort zone and experiment with different self-care practices and observe how it affects their overall wellbeing.
Through our WhatsApp group, we will facilitate discussion and dialogue amongst participants. There is strength in numbers! By enhancing our BREATHE community connection outside of the studio, we can all grow a bit more separately and together.

Recipes and mindful eating tips and techniques
You will be asked to share the ways you hope to incorporate new things into your life that will help you feel nourished and balanced with our program leaders (confidentially) and encouraged to share within the group.
WEEK 3: MONDAY, APRIL 17TH - SUNDAY, APRIL 23RD
IMPLEMENTING NEW HABITS
Week 3 will be all about taking additional action to implement new habits and practices that support our well-being. We encourage you to explore a variety of self-care practices, including (more) yoga, meditation, healthy eating, healthy boundaries, or cultivating gratitude, and creating a plan to integrate these practices into our daily lives.
Focus on incorporating new habits into your daily routines that support your well-being.
Yoga classes during this week will emphasize strengthening and energizing poses, such as arm balances and backbends.
Ayurveda daily practices will be explored as simple, yet life-changing, habits we can incorporate.
Participants will be encouraged to set goals for themselves and track their progress throughout the week.
You will be asked to share your goals (and successes/failures) with our program leaders (confidentially) and encouraged to share within the group.
WEEK 4: MONDAY, APRIL 24TH - SUNDAY, APRIL 30TH
SHARING WHAT YOU LEARNED THROUGH THE EXPERIENCE TO INSPIRE OTHERS
In the final week, we will focus even more on sharing our experiences with others to inspire everyone on their own wellness journeys. We will explore ways to communicate our personal growth and learn from each other's experiences. This week will be about giving back to the community and helping others achieve their own wellness goals by practicing compassion and cultivating connection.
Yoga classes during this week will emphasize heart-opening poses, such as backbends and chest openers.
Participants will be encouraged to share their experiences with others and explore ways to continue their wellbeing journey beyond these 4 weeks.

BREATHE well-being, develop new habits, support your physical, mental, and emotional health. By focusing on eliminating what no longer serves us, transitioning into what our bodies and minds need, implementing new habits, and sharing what we have learned with others, we can create a more balanced and fulfilling life!
CHALLENGE REWARDS
Everyone who participates in the program by submitting an email address and sharing at least 2 pieces of their progress will receive 1 free class (for themselves or a friend) and be entered to win a 3 Month Unlimited Class Pass. We will choose 3 winners randomly.
